8. Summary of the new results of the thesis

1. New academic and theoretical contributions

- The thesis contributes to clarifying, supplementing, and developing the concept, structure, and role of cultural life in general and the cultural life of students at the National University of Laos in particular. 

- It helps raise awareness of the role of cultural life and build a healthy cultural life for students.

- The research results of the thesis assist leadership and management agencies in the education system to accurately assess the current state of the cultural life of students at the National University of Laos and, based on that, propose feasible solutions to further enhance the cultural life of students in line with educational goals and the comprehensive development of individuals, creating a synergistic strength for economic and social development and current international integration.

- The thesis can be used as a reference material for students and trainees in cultural studies and in cultural and educational leadership and management.

8.2. New points found from research and survey results

1) Present the influencing factors and assess the current state of the cultural life of students at the National University of Laos from the semester 2021 to the present. 

2) Clarify the issues arising in the cultural life of students at the National University of Laos.

3) Propose a system of solutions to enhance the cultural life of students at the National University of Laos, as follows: (i) Raise awareness among stakeholders; (ii) Build and strengthen the system of cultural institutions and facilities to serve the cultural activities of students; (iii) Increase mobilization of resources for the development of students' cultural life; (iv) Innovate the forms of cultural activities within the school; (v) Strengthen coordination with relevant agencies in building the cultural life of students.
